I remember when the NutRageous candy bar came out in the '90s. I told a friend, ‘That’s nutrageous!’ and ‘I’m nutraged!’ ‘Nutrageous’ and ‘nutraged’ became comedy words we’d use from time to time in our conversations.

I’ve noticed that since the (ex-)Korean Air exec caused an incident on an airplane over her displeasure at the way her nuts were served, headlines are using ‘nut rage’.

That’s nutrageous! I’m nutraged that the media are stealing my line! :mad:

I’ll tell you what’s nutrageous - the last few cans of mixed nuts I bought were labelled (in small type) “Lightly Salted.” I want maximum salt! That’s what you deserve when you get mixed nuts!
