Is Steve Martin a time traveler?

I was watching the Saturday night live 40th anniversary special, and I realized he looks the same age in 40 year old clips as he does now!

Well, he was born a poor black child.

He ate Dick Clark.

Technically, we’re all time travelers.

He’s got a few gray hairs now.

Most of the aged cast members slowly went gray then silver over the decades.
Steve Martin’s hair was silver 40 years ago.

And while that’s lent him a somewhat ageless quality it’s clear that he’s aged over the last few decades.

He definitely looked older to me, but he has travelled the ages well. Now, Akroyd…

See, this is why I’m happy I’m going grey early. Sure, I may look a lot older than I am right now, but it’s going to pay dividends when I’m 60 or 70. People who will not have seen me in 20 or 30 years will be saying, “you haven’t aged a day!”

He went prematurely gray at a very young age, as did his father. His daughter better watch out. (And since he was 67 when she was born, she’ll always know him as being old.)

Martin clearly looks older, but since his hair was white when he came to prominence, it’s not as noticeable.

Your mind is playing tricks with you. I thought the same thing. But if you go back and look at his “Wild and Crazy Guy” King Tut phase you will notice that he had salt and pepper hair. Although he was clearly graying prematurely he was not anywhere near white.

His hair is a lot thinner now than it was back then. But he has nonetheless aged well.

You mean he’s going to stay this color?

You win the Internet.

I was thinking the same thing… but about Paul Schaffer. I told my wife “best decision that man made was to shave his head.”

Yes, he is a Time Traveler.
In 1954 he was reporting on the Invasion of Tokyo by Godzilla. His hair was dark then, but he looked completely different. He looked like a lawyer or something.

He can only travel forwards through time…otherwise he’d be going the wrong way!

Well, he had his cock shortened.

And then he caught sight of Godzilla . . .
