For me, I realized I had three Gothams sitting on my DVR and didn’t care about watching any of them so they are deleted and I think I am done with that show. It wasn’t terrible, I just no longer cared.
I amthisclose to giving up on the Amazing Race. I bailed on it a few Seasons ago because I was bored. Came back for an All Star Season and stuck around. Bored again.
I still have my DVR set to record “New Girl” every week, but I think it’s been over a year since I’ve watched an episode.
I’ve tried watching “Agents of SHIELD” but I’ve missed too many episodes here and there and lost track of who’s a good guy and who’s a bad guy, and basically said screw it.
I didn’t really intend to bail on these shows, but I noticed that when I’d look for something to watch, even though these were queued up, I just had no interest to continue:
Mad Men
Masters of Sex
House of Cards
I still watch recorded episodes of Big Bang Theory when I see a new episode has aired, but I’m losing interest. I’ll cut off the recording after this season ends until next season, but I’m not sure I’ll turn it back on again.
Bones, about the time Bone’s father showed up, and I realized he was supposed to be a good guy. That, and what they did to Zach’s character.
Burn Notice, during the last story arc. I should have given up at Anson, should have double given up at the “we can’t leave Miami” arc, but finally did bail before the end. So as far as I’m concerned, Maddie is still alive and Michael isn’t the stupid person he turned into at the end.
CSI mothership, after what they did to Laurence Fishburn’s character. I didn’t like him anyway, but then spent too much time on his story arc with his nemesis, and I just quit caring. Every show has to have a supervillian these days, and it’s boring.
Last man on earth was the same joke over and over again, i quit after a few episodes of not getting to bang the hot chick because he keeps screwing up.
Agents of Shield just failed to grab me and I bailed after about half the first season. Gotham I bailed on for the same reason. Bones I realized I had a bunch sitting on the DVR and tried to watch one and it turned into an hour long Twitter ad, so I stopped it and deleted all the remaining episodes.
Once Upon a Time and Agents of Shield - My wife still likes them; me not so much;
House of Cards - this most recent season just wasn’t interesting to me. I got about 3-5 episodes in; and realized I just didn’t care.
Last Man on Earth got old REAL FAST.
The Blacklist. I just couldn’t get into the show. I would often be outside myself realizing that I’m watching a tv show. The acting by the female agent was so BAD; and she was soooo stupid!
The one show I’ve grown really tired of is Conan (the talk show.) I still think he’s funny, based on the remotes where he’s allowed to ad lib. But that’s the only good part of his show, which is just so damn bland I can’t sit still through an entire episode.
I gave up on the The Walking Dead in season 2, when it killed off an underdeveloped child character.
Lost lost me around season 3.
I kind of lost interest in Running Man (the Korean version) shortly after the 100th episode.
NCIS used to be kind of interesting, even if I mostly only watched it with my dad. It got old for me right about the time it was being rated the #1 show.
Gotham: I loved it at the start, but then I always found reasons not to watch it ''right now". I live alone, and it reached a point where I found it too stressful to watch in the evening. There are 11 episodes waiting for me to view them. Maybe I should just delete them.
Modern Family: don’t ask me why, I watched it faithfully until this season, mainly because I had to get to like it, because everyone else did. I found it unbearably annoying, but stopped watching it only recently when my son (who loves it) told me that I should probably let it go.
CSI Cyber: I love Patricia Arquette, but I don’t find this series very well made. I dropped it after 3 episodes.
I loved** Person of Interest **when it first came on. But when they not only killed off Taraji Henson, but forced a come-out-of-nowhere lamo ‘love’ connection between she and Jim Caviezel, I snorted in disgust and never turned it back on again.
Same with Lost. It was must see tv in the beginning, but when the whole story got so out there, I gave up on it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Mentalist until it became an entire season about Red John. That plotline sucked all the fun out of the show.
I wanted to like TURNon AMC, but it was so slow and boring I gave that up after the 3rd episode.
Recently? Castle. I try to watch it, but realize I have better things to do.
I quit Agents of Shield and The Flash after about three episodes because they weren’t doing anything interesting.
Season Two of Once Upon a Time was so repetitive and awful that I didn’t bother with season three. Now when I see the promos, it just looks like an excuse to promote Disney villains.
CSI just got tired.
The first episode of The Blacklist was so stupid I didn’t see anything more. Person of Interest grew boring very fast. Elementary after about five episodes when I realized it was more House than Holmes.
