Just to shower to clean off after a normal non-vigorous day. Not shampooing, nor any other activities you are probably thinking about doing in the shower. From the time you go in till you come out, dried and dressed (or not, whatever). Possibly strange question but there is a reason for it. Also, mention if you are male or female.
Thank you very much for taking a moment to respond! (Or however long it takes you.)
Male. I shampoo essentially every time I shower. I would say 5 or 6 minutes in the actual shower, if I’m not rushing for some reason. Dressing doesn’t take long, another couple of minutes. Shaving might add 3 minutes. I usually give myself 20 minutes from out-of-bed to out the door.
I pretty much always wash my hair when I take a shower; I don’t feel clean if I don’t. It takes me about 15 minutes, more if I feel like lingering on a cold morning. I’m a guy.
I usually shower twice a day due to the climate here, once when I get up and once before dinner. In the morning I shampoo and it might take me five minutes. In the afternoon, usually after exercise, I just rinse off and it only takes a couple of minutes.
If I’m in the US during the winter I may take longer when it’s cold.
I’m a guy, and I have no idea. I lather up, rinse, lather up again, rinse again. I sometimes stand under the hot water for a while. I’d guess 5 minutes total, but I wouldn’t argue with someone holding a stopwatch and telling me it was 4 or 10.
Male. Shower in the morning, entire shit, brush teeth, shave, shower, wipe down the stall takes 18 to 20 minutes. I do not know how that breaks down into discrete actions.
I’m a woman. It varies between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on what exactly I’m doing.
For example, I don’t shave my legs every time I take a shower - but when I do it adds a fair bit of time to the whole process. It’s also not uncommon for me to wander around the house for a random amount of time before getting dressed while wearing either some towels or nuthin’ at all, depending on my whim and how urgently I need to GTFO and be on about my business.
Female. I can do it in about two minutes. Shampooing doesn’t really add any more time. However, the hot water on my bum knees feels good and I’ve been known to linger.
I’m a guy with long hair. It typically takes less than 5 minutes if I don’t wash my hair, maybe slightly longer if I do. I’d consider 10 minutes to be a pretty long shower. And with being clothed and all, since that was mentioned, it’s generally around 12 minutes from waking up to being fully clothed and hair brushed after a shower. And, if I have to shave, that probably pushes it to about 15 minutes.
