In 2015 there were more than 400 scripted TV shows on US broadcast & cable TV alone, not to mention the other types of shows, (variety, sports, news, reality, etc), other methods of delivery (streaming and web series) and other countries that were also producing excellent tv.

I would add The Good Wife but its quality is off-and-on this year. Better years earlier. Similar things can be said about Homeland but I like it, too.
If I had only one vote it would go to Fargo. No better show still running of the batch.
Scream Queens
The Leftovers - I huge improvement over season 1, which was really good. Best show on TV right now.
Jessica Jones - Great show

Master of None** - Skip the pilot and go to episode 2. Or just watch the episode “Nashville”. Best comedy on TV.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt** - Wow, the second best comedy on TV. Both Netflix.
Doctor Who - Just had its best season. Great, great, TV.
Flash - What a great 1st season.
**12 Monkeys **- Again, what a great 1st season.
Oh, I forgot one more. Maybe my favorite show of the year, but not scripted.
Taskmaster - Find this show. I’d almost advocate bootlegging it. Non-stop hilarity. My wife and I laughed, laughed, and laughed more and more watching this weekly during its run. It was awesome.
