The Song on a Current Nike Commercial

Well, I think it was a Nike commercial. Pretty sure it was for some shoe, anyway.

The lyrics start with “Whenever I wake up.” It is sung by a female vocalist. The song is mixed fuzzily. It’s a slow, moody sounding song. The instrumentation includes some kind of xylophony sound punctuating musical phrases, as well as drums and at least one guitar. (I think… going from memory…)

I like the snippet I hear on the commercial…

Anyone know the song and artist so I can find out more about it? Thanks.

I believe you’re referring to an Adidas ad that features a song called “Hello Tomorrow.” It is sung by Karen O., of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
