I’m writing a rulebook for the game of life based on many esoteric/new-age/spiritual/success/self-help/etc books I’ve read… plus some of my own ideas…
Criticisms, advice, etc, is greatly appreciated.
======================================
God or a higher order? Maybe just a higher order.
You can play the game of life however you like, but if you want to get the most out of it, you
need to play by the rules.
rules for the “game of life”
PLAY BY THESE RULES… OR LIFE WILL F*** YOU UP! EITHER THE COPS, THE TAXMAN, THE MENTAL INSTITUTIONS, OR BAD PEOPLE, ETC, WILL GET YOU!
DON’T TRY AND USE TRICKY TECHNIQUES TO CHEAT TOO MUCH AT THE GAME OF LIFE EITHER… THE GAME WILL GET REVENGE!
don’t harm yourself or others - everything else is ok, unless you get caught.
better yet, take care of yourself and others
“you only get what you give”
it’s good to be in reality
don’t manipulate people - they need to choose freely
don’t be attached to outcome
patience
synchronicity
keep secrets about what you know
white lies are ok
don’t swear unless necessary
pick a role/personality and stick to it - better yet, find your role with enneagrams/socionics
don’t preach the easy way (cheats) - only if you’re called for help
participate
smile
obey laws
BOLD:
(rewrite: say “Everyone knows that magick, superstition, etc, is just a case of misperceptions, coincidences, the fourier effect(?), hallucinations, delusions, etc”)
superstition, messages from TV/music, magic, etc, is real and works IF you are in the right state of mind but if you try and use it to manipulate others or to prove it it will seem just like it was a hallucination, coincidence or it won’t work. Others would think you’ve got schizophrenia. Conspiracy theories and others talking in code is often true - if you are in the right state of mind but they involve synchronicity so it seems to others like it is just coincidences and you’re reading too much into unrelated events and that you’re crazy.
signs you’re on the right track:
synchronocity
good ideas
miracles
signs you’re on the wrong track:
misfortunes
near misses
advice messages
warning messages
flexiverse - stephen hawking thinks… I also think that might be true…
don’t have demands have preferences. And have patience. If you truly let go of demands you might be surprised what suddenly becomes possible.
My testimony.
advice for me:
self-doubt and paranoia might be ok… nah, trust in God but have the right amount of caution.
As you play it the game of life seems more difficult and dangerous but that’s just because you have more insight.
