Is most Viagara sold by online pharmacies?

I’m thinking that Viagra and other such drugs are sold by online pharmacies where the ‘patient’ has no contact with the doctor. Is this true? Like most people, I receive hundreds of Viagra spam messages.

Do many people actually walk into a doctor’s office and ask for a prescription and take it to their local pharmacist?

Isn’t Viagra sold over the counter in the UK, or at least at certain pharacies there?

I’ve seen other online pharmacies which have an online consultation with a doctor. In other words you fill out a form and it’s read by a doctor and the doctor then approves or denies the prescription.

I don’t have experience with any online pharmacies (don’t take any medication, and I don’t trust those type of online pharmacies anyhow), but I can tell you that in the pharmacy I work at we do fill a decent amount of scrips for Viagra. So, there are plenty of people who get real scrips for Viagra, and then go to their local pharmacy to get it filled.

As a side note, Viagra is pretty expensive, most people who fill it only get about 8 tablets at a time.

IME, ED drugs are actually easy to get from doctors - there is of course the stigma of telling your doctor you need it, but the two doctors I have discussed it with haven’t had any problem cranking out a prescription for it.
