New year, new thread, as per usual.

Anyway - who’s in tonight? I’m planning to be there. Interrobang!? is hosting, and promises a “2009 in review” round.
I’ll be there. Funny, I lived through 2009 just recently, but I can’t remember a thing about it. Oh, well, maybe it’ll come to me after the first pint.
I can’t smurf it tonight, unfortunately.
Round? 2009 is the whole quiz. Which means it’s 1/10th as difficult as last week’s '00s in review quiz.
Proposal:
For the coming month, we name ourselves a smurfified version of the host’s team. Examples:

I used to be quite the math guy, but that part of my cortex has largely atrophied. Hopefully, some useful information remains.

Who’s in tonight? Kevin’s hosting. The special requested round topic is “grammar, logic, and rhetoric,” but I’ll be there anyway.
And I have a team name idea, best shared in person.

I’m hoping to be there, but it depends on this headache going away in time for me to finish a big work project.
Cervaise says he’ll be there, too.

I’m in. I love ST:TNG, which of course means I won’t know a single answer in the round.
I’ll be there. I’m something of a trekker, though I haven’t watched any TNG in a good long while.
At some point, I think we need to be “The Day the Smurf Stood Still.”
