Of course, you’re right. I was in too much of a hurry. Unless one of these teams has a really ugly win and somebody in the next tier works miracles, there’s hardly any way for the Top Ten to change this week.

Less than 24 hours before the poll closes.
I have A&M dropping out after losing to Bama. Saban has had two weeks to game plan this thing, and I’m expecting Johnny Football to taste dirt early and often.
Oregon could drop out if they get upset by Tennessee…but that isn’t likely to happen, and I didn’t vote them out.

You make a good point. To add to the thought, I’d suggest that if any of the Top Ten not already mentioned (Stanford, Louisville, Florida State, Ohio State or LSU) managed to lose their games, they might fall below #10 . I’m not betting that way!
The Bama and UT games are the only ones on my Must See list, but that may mean the air is right for a major upset in those other games.

My personal top ten:
1 Alabama
2 Oregon
3 Clemson
4 Ohio State
5 Stanford
6 Florida State
7 Louisville
8 LSU
9 Michigan
10 Oklahoma State
I firmly believe that this early in the season no one-loss team should be in the 10.

Alabama deserves top 10, but I’m not sure they should remain #1 .
