Multiple choice poll on the way.

Three votes so far, and all of us think Clemson is the only team to fall out of the top 10 this week. I’m a little nervous about that pick…I took Georgia in my College Pick Em League (which has plenty of room for more players, thread here), but Clemson is playing at home, first game of the season, anything could happen. Of course, the real “Death Valley” is in Baton Rouge, but…

FoieGrasIsEvil only picked South Carolina to maintain. Somehow s/he believes the UGA v clemson game will end with both teams losing!

I picked Clemson to win. I’m a fan FWIW.

Well, if Clemson won with both teams looking like shit and the 11 and 12 teams crushed their competition, then that’s possible, right?

Generally on pick 'em games I pick with my heart and not my head. So I picked all the non-SEC teams to win.

This poll will close on 08-30-2013 at 01:44 PM

The AP Poll has so many gotchas that predicting which teams rise and fall week to week is fun for guessing.

Even having Stanford drop out of the Top 10 is not impossible. Unlikely.

A fun add-on to the intent of this thread might be to pick which teams will nose into the Top Ten if/when some of these current teams lose.

8 of the teams in the top 10 are locks to stay there.

I agree that Georgia/South Carolina is the only game that could shake things up. If Georgia wins handily, Clemson will plummet. If either team wins a squeaker, there’s a slim chance both could stay in the top 10.

Voters give the SEC way too much credit, so a loss to an SEC team rarely hurts a team in the rankings.

Just three hours before the poll is closed. Just saying.

Assuming FSU wins tonight, put Georgia in the 12 spot (maybe 11, but I doubt it), move everybody else up as appropriate.

I expect Clemson to jump over TAMU and maybe SCAR. UGA will drop to 11 or 12
