The news station I’m watching has reported that the south tower of the World Trade center has collapsed. Typically, the news media, instead of reporting the damn FACTS are asking everyone how they feel about it.
It looks like several attacks have been carried out in different areas over a short period of time.
World Trade Center, UN Building, the Capitol, The Pentagon,
and the White House have been evacuated.
Has anyone taken responsibility?
If you do not live in D.C. or New York, please limit your Internet usage. All the news sites, et al, are overloaded and some of us are trying to find out what roads are closed.

I think the general question has been answered - news outlets are repoting car bombings and hijackings. If it wasn’t already obvious, this is terrorism. Unless there are more general questions, we should let this thread die.

Well… if they find out about whoever did this or funded it or was instrumental in this plot being executed God himself cannot save ther asses at this point.
I’ll almost bet that Bin Laden is wound into this somehow. The amazing thing is I cannot imagine what is in the minds of (assuming) Bin Laden and Co. as the long term benefit for them of this action. The US will stop at nothing at this point to take his organization apart like a tinker toy and anyone who gets in their way.
As I type this I am hearing that the twin towers in NY have now collapsed.
