05-Aug-2005 How do you have lucid dreams?
This little bit of info may help people have lucid dreams.
I tried to quit smoking once… okay, 17 times… during one of those many occasions, i used a nicotine patch. I read the instructions and did what it said. The only that I forgot to do was take it off before bedtime. That night, I had the wildest and most vivid dreams I have ever had. I thought I could even control everything that happened during that crazy night. Most dreams are almost like a written story and you are just following along. This “story” was mine and I could do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. Flying like superman. Supersonic speed. I dreamt that I flew Darth Vaders winged aircraft from The Return of the Jedi.
The next morning I awoke… dog tired. My mind was running at full speed all night and I just couldn’t get out of bed. I wanted to go back to sleep but I couldn’t. While I was taking a shower, I couldn’t get over the dreams I had that night. I realized while scrubbing that I didn’t take my nicotine patch off. When I got out of the shower I read the instructions and it said on the box: May cause lucid dreams! That’s definetely what I had. Lucid. I had a word for it.
I started smoking again and I did try the patch again. I had Saturday off so I went to bed with my patch on again. Again it happened. Vivid dreams. Lucid dreams.
I highly recommend trying it. Maybe half of one. Wild Wild Wild.
