10 talents you would like to be endowed with

The list doesn’t all have to be things you don’t know how to do already…these could also be things you would like to improve by 200 per cent…pick your own and be specific. Here is my list:

Skateboarding
Basketball
Piano
DJ’ing (Turntables)
Rapping/Freestyling
Breakdancing
Stunt Biking
Saxophone
Acting
Drums

Juggling
Running
Piano
Violin
Detective Skills
Fencing
Persuasion
Memorization
Archery
Reading Speed

Wow, I had trouble coming up with 10 of these. I guess I’m pretty happy with where I am.

Ability to see into the future
Ability to correct past mistakes

Telekentic Powers
The ability to read people’s minds
Persuasion
The ability to know everything that a given person knows
Playing the flute
Picking up hot chicks
I can’t of any more. That pretty much covers it.

Hmm…well-endowed…10…

many talents spring to mind.

  1. Sewing. I wish I could sew more than any other ability I don’t have. I’m jealous of people who can actually follow a pattern, slap a simple outfit together and it be wearable when they’re through.

  2. Playing guitar. (This is on my “to do” list. The ability’s there, I’ve just gotta nurture it.) I also feel the same way about the fiddle.

  3. Cooking. Oh, I can cook. But it’d be nice to be 200% better at it.

  4. Interior decorating. It’d be nice to have an eye for color.

  5. Singing. I can wail now, but you can never be too good.

  6. Dancing. I so can’t dance. No, really. I’m the poster child for rhythmless white girls. I get lost just watching those who can dance; I just sit there and stare in wonder.

  7. Finances. Some people have a knack for knowing which stocks are going to skyrocket and knowing when to get in on something. I’d like to find the next Wal-Mart and invest early and heavily.

  8. Reading retention. Oh, to read something just once and remember all of it!

  9. Public speaking/singing. What good is a talent if you can’t share it? I can sing, but the thought of singing in front of a crowd is horrifying.

  10. Need for sleep. I had a teacher in high school who only slept 4 hours a night, every night, without fail (10pm to 2am). That would be so cool.

I’ve never had much of a sense of rhythm. I think if I could develop that, I’d be happy. It’d be nice to be able to sing too.

Play Guitar
Play Piano
Expert Driver (rally and drag)
Expert Mechanic
Sniper
Financially apt
The ability to create and hold to a physical training regimen

flight
invisibility at will
teleportation
Those last 3 are fantasy stuff, as I couldn’t think of 3 more actual skills or abilities I wish I had that badly. The ones I’ve named would take care of pretty much all my desires…

Juggling
Hula Hooping. ( I feel so defective as I cannot hula a hoop.)
organizing
follow through on stuff

I would like to have the ability to make any woman I choose fall hopelessly, deeply, and passionately in lust with me.

And then to make them fall out of it later.

**fighting ** - I wanna be able to take down a group of men without breaking a nail
breakdancing- I have always wanted to do this
gymnastics- Right now I couldnt do a cartwheel to save my life
mechanic- sometimes I wish I cared enough to learn all about cars
singing- I love to sing and im ok at it- but I wish I was better
dancing- It just doesnt come as naturally as id like it to
street bike rider- #1-I cant afford it, #2-Im a chicken
guitar player- Ive always wanted to expand my hippy-chick-ness
Marksman- as in guns, I want to know all about them and I want to know how to use them
Swordfighter- not that there would ever be many people to swordfight but god it looks fun

I guess all in all ive always wanted to be a hot singing dancing superhero. Dont we all?

God help me, I want one thing that would hand a hundred talents to me on a silver platter with gilt edging: I want to stop being clumsy. I can’t draw, because the pen doesn’t go where I want it to; I can’t throw, or bowl, or skate, or dance – hell, I can barely walk – because my limbs stubbornly deviate from the path I set for them. How the hell do you tell your hand “No, no, no! Not that way!” Learning to ski, drive, ride a bike, etc. were torture, and took forever, and I still don’t do them well. I’m an exquisite defensive driver, but my motor control over the car is, well, adequate. I think the only reason I can drive is because the lanes are wide enough to accomodate trucks, so I have room to spare. I also have trouble balancing.

I’d also like a sense of rhythm.

I can do nearly everything that I’d really like to do (not particularly well in some cases, but what I lack in ability I more than make up for in enthusiasm), except play the piano. I don’t want to be an amazing virtuoso - I want to be able to play jazz standards and the American song book. Nothing too flashy, but if I could play Cole Porter tunes, Gershwin tunes, and Rodgers and Hart tunes I’d be happy.

My top ten (in no particular order)

singing (can’t sing worth beans)
dancing (see above)
archery (I’m pretty good, but I’d really like to be much better)
languages (I’ve always wanted to learn Japanese, Spanish and Latin)
sculpting (I can’t seem to express the vision in the physical)
painting (see above)
writing (see above)
fly fishing (for when I need to take a break from the above)
welding (Something I’m just learning)
brewing

I’ll give you some of mine! I read so fast, and its so bloody annoying. I get into a book (I am a total book nerd), and as soon as I know it, it is over. I am known in my class to read chapers in books many times before others finish a few pages.

Sounds like a good deal. I’m already at an above average speed, but I do like to read and I hardly ever get the time. I also tend to lose interest in longer books through boring parts.

So what do you want in return? I wouldn’t mind trading off some dancing skills or trivia knowledge.

Socialize/work a room/seduction
Dancing

Some real - some fantasy

Guitar - Bottleneck blues on a National steel guitar
Piano - Stride / barrelhouse blues style
Finances - Just good enough to not be in debt
Languages - master of all
Be Slim - life long struggle that’s not being won
Space Travel - love exploring
Scuba Diving - see above
Cloak of Invisibility - feed my voyeurism (not necessarily a peeping tom - just like to watch ppl)
Teleportation - free ability to pop-in all around the world
Time Travel - ability to watch historical events take place as they really happened

I want to be talented or an expert in all of these.

I want to be able to do:
Martial arts
Violin playing
Piano playing
Fly
Telekinesis (I imagine myself with this ability all the time! :D)

I want to improve:
Singing
Swimming
Math skills
Skating
Dancing

In no particular order:
Auto mechanics/car repair
Woordworking
Construction
Welding
Getting and keeping a girlfriend (just broke up 2 weeks ago, I’m still rather upset)
Writing (I’m told I write well, but I don’t feel like it. In fact, in collge, the worse I felt I did on a paper, the better grade I got)
Creativity
flight
telekenesis
ESP
Ability to function on 1/2 the sleep I presently require.
