I wish I had some will and determination. Other than that, telepathy would be nice.

Otherwise, I envy those people who can sing so effortlessly. I had the pleasure of listening to Cilette Swan of Gypsy Soul sing a capella a song to me and my wife on our anniversary and it was sooo beautiful, it made me cry.
I wonder what it would feel like to sing so sweetly it could bring tears to someone’s eyes.
I wish:
- I was able to understand my emotions.
- that I could sing.
- I was more creative.
- I had stronger will power.
- that I could get people to feel what I do.
I wish:
I could play any musical instrument.
I could eat anything without gaining weight.
I could pick winning lottery numbers.
Flying would be nice.
(All of these, mind, would be entirely controllable – i could turn them on or off at will)

A tail would be handy, preferably prehensile.
I sang semi-pro for years, but I really don’t have much of a voice; the basic equipment just ain’t there. I’d love to have a real, beautiful voice.
(A lot of us would like to sing, it seems. Perhaps we should form an SDMB Choir. We could all sit and sing our parts into the computer and imagine we’re making beautiful music together.)
I’m with Poohpah. Flying would be nice, but seriously, singing could help somewhat - being able to gaze soulfully in her eyes and serenade the ladies…
My current singing sounds like someone forgot to use the clutch shifting gears.
