Oh yes, the channel 4 list:
I immediately closed the link when I saw Rambo on the list. That’s GOT to be a whoosh.
I believe the films on the Channel Four list were selected by viewers. Rambo was wildly popular with the public (well, I’m a bit surprised that the UK public might have gone for it, but it was huge in the States). I agree that it shouldn’t be on a ‘greatest of’ list, unless maybe it’s the ‘greatest sweaty headband’ list.
And now I see, from a cardboard display in our theater’s lobby this weekend, that they’re coming out with another! Ugh.
