100 Movies, 100 Quotes, 100 Numbers

Here’s a fun thing. I tried to search to see if anyone had posted this before, but couldn’t find it. If it has, my apologies. My husband found this fun YouTube video where numbers are counted down from 100 to 1, via movie clips. We had a fun time trying to identify all the movies, and came very close. There were about 8 that we didn’t get.

Here is the clip:

Damn, that was an ambitious undertaking for the guy who put that together!

I got 60-something of them right off, and know I could’ve named another 15 or so if I had more time to think about them.

Extra fun can be had in trying to guess what movies they’ll use for a particular number before it comes up. I was correct on 11, off by one on 37, and deeply disappointed with 42.

That was great fun (got 98/100). Now I’m trying to think of one using all the states of the union…

It was also a bit disappointing how many of them were ages, or other numbers of years. People can be almost any age in that range; it seems like it makes it too easy.

Good cross-section of movies, though.

I wasn’t actually counting but I think I scored in the high 80s - not too shabby - and looking at the list, there were about 13 or so movies I’d never seen or heard of.

ETA: that, by the way, is a very cool video.

I got about 39 of them.
