I hadn’t heard of several of the places on that list - but a lot of the ones I had heard of that I haven’t been to have been on my list of “Things I want to see” for a while… The remaining European ones should be easy; the others will take a bit more planning!

Me. We went to the Accademia, where the David is, though. I can’t imagine there’s anything better at the Uffizi, and we were a bit museumed-out by the time we reached Florence.
ETA: The more I think about it, the more annoyed I am by this list. I’ve been to nineteen countries on four continents, but most of my hits are from Western Europe. Lame.

One thing; “Acropolis” actually means highest city. There are acropolises all over Greece and I suppose other countries (Italy, Turkey) in that they’re the buildings up on a hill usually constructed for defensive reasons. I assume for the purposes of this list they’re referring to the Acropolis of Athens where you’ll find the Parthenon.
