Might be more challenging to find 11 ways that the two are similar. I’ve been to both places enough, and never have I ever considered mistaking one for the other.
I take it he doesn’t like Toronto?
I’d like to think there are better reasons to visit either city than cheap booze and hookers, but maybe that’s just me…
Besides, we’ve got tons of cheap booze and hookers. Clearly, the author of the piece has never been to Jilly’s.

Nah, Noel, who is hands down one of the nicest guys I’ve ever known, is good with Toronto. He’s from near there. Just a little good-natured joshing. It’s true he wouldn’t want to live there again, but that’s because it’s cold. And his girlfriend is here. And if he seems a little fixated on alcohol, bear in mind the title of his book that’s out is “The Man Who Scared a Shark to Death and Other True Tales of Drunken Debauchery.”
