18,000 Palestinians are starving. Will Europe explode in protest?

Good god almighty.

Bob see what Syria does. Syria bad! Bad bad bad. Bob live in America. America no like Syria already. What Bob gonna do? Protest against America no like Syria? Tell America no like Syria more? No. Bob gonna watch TV.

Bob see what Israel does. Israel bad! Not as bad as Syria, no way sir, but pretty bad. Bob live in America. America like Israel plenty much. America give Israel lotta help. Bob protest, say Mr. President, please no give Israel lotta help if they gonna be bad like that. Maybe Mr. President agree. Maybe Mr. President say, hey Israel, no be bad no more or no aid no more. Maybe Israel say, fuck off, or maybe Israel say, okey dokey, we maybe give up more in negotiations, also we no kill so many civilians.

You say: Bob antisemite, because Israel only say fuck off!

I say: you need things explained simple, simple man.

Terr,

You’re right. We ALL hate Jews. Even some of the Jews. That’s it. Yet, even though we are all clearly ensconced in our supermajority, we won’t admit it.

Oh my fucking god, Terr, what exactly is your central thesis? Is it just that everyone hates Jews? Directly, in one or two succinct sentences, what is your goddamned point?

After that, please tell me why I bother, since I genuinely don’t know.

Again, cite the post where I said that.

You’ve gotta ask nicely. You didn’t.

Bob not know where middle east is.

Bob not know where Syria is.

Bob hear Israeli Jews do something: Stop the genocide. Israel like Hitler!

Bob not know where Hitler did his thing either.

Lev, do you genuinely think you’re addressing something I said here?

They are willing to do what is necessary to win. You aren’t. If they win, then their ‘ethics’ are now the norm.

So, you protested and failed to achieve your goal. If you had achieved your goal there would be no war. The failure is your responsibility.

When there is a war there is no way to determine who is innocent and who isn’t. It isn’t a court of law. Bombs fall killing those responsible and those who are not.

You are part of the country. You failed to prevent a war. That failure is yours as much as if your boss at work assigned you a task you couldn’t complete.

But I thought every citizen in a country was responsible for the actions of their nation. Who are these unresponsible people who are suddenly getting in the way of our bombs? How did they avoid the communal guilt brush?

Essentially, they are. I’m just answering his question using, what I gather are, his definitions of ‘innocent’.

More importantly, what do you mean by “responsible”? Your post makes absolutely no sense to me, and I think it’s because of your use of this word.

What are you, 12?..

I concede that you’ve never said most of world is anti-semitic. But your tone leads me to believe that you probably think it. And if not, you’re not far from taking that extra step.

What, in your opinion, puts Israel beyond reproach? If I criticize the Vatican (without demanding that all priests be hanged), am I anti-catholic? If I criticize Islamists, am I anti-muslim? Anti-semitic slogans aside, where do you set the bar for allowing reasonable people to question Israel’s policies before you brand them anti-semites?

Such strident and simplistic views are a very short walk to “justifiable genocide”. And while you claim that you do not endorse such actions, it’s hard for me to believe that it would take much convincing to get you that extra step. Because you know… everyone of those people is responsible and had it coming.

You have a responsibility to raise your children so they don’t hurt others, to understand the policies of the people you are voting for, to learn to drive your car properly, to abide by the laws to the extent that anything you do doesn’t cause harm to others, to use good judgement, etc. Failing in some of these responsibilities could get your thrown in jail, others not so much. I think I explained this earlier.
People have Rights. They also have Responsibilities. One doesn’t exist without the other although many would argue that the former is more important than the latter.

In your mind. Responsibility resides with the people who fight wars to not kill people just because they can. But an army’s and government’s primary responsibility is to their own people first and to others second.

But, I can see circumstances that this could apply. I’d have no problem eliminating every mosquito on the planet just to get rid of the ones wanting to drink my blood and infect me with things like Malaria, etc.

I don’t even know what you’re trying to say here. Do you?

Can’t explain light to a blind person. Sorry.

It’s not my fault you keep stating the blindingly obvious thinking you’re revealing some sort of deep insight. You’ve yet to express an understanding of anything other than black and white concepts. I doubt you could explain your way out of a paper bag.

Definitely not to you. I’ve failed in my responsibility to explain something to a retard. I can live with it. I’ll give myself one eye roll. Er, maybe not as the responsibility wasn’t great and the material I had to work with was flawed. I blame its parents.

Maybe this will help

Why would you say something like that? I so hoped we were finally reaching an understanding.

Oh, there is an understanding. You think I’m one step away from being a Nazi, while I know you’re a retard. One of us is correct.

Here’s a game. I’m going to go to that website and reproduce its list of responsibilities, only I’m going to add one in. See if you can find the one that wasn’t on the original list!

Some of our responsibilities:
-to follow the rules at home, at school and in the community - after all they are there for our safety and to protect our rights and the rights of others
-to stand up for our rights and the rights of others as much as we can
-to be the best person that we can be
-to take care of our own bodies as best we can
-to respect the rights of others
-to stop our government from committing unethical acts, through any means necessary
-to look after our own belongings and respect the belongings of others
-to learn as well as we can
-to care about others who are not as strong in some ways as we are.

Hint: the one I added is the one that doesn’t make any sense to me, the one that doesn’t fit with the others, and the one I’m hoping you’ll explain.
