What happened in Belfast in the 1970’S? I guess my googling skills aren’t up to par, because I couldn’t find anything but snippets.

For those who don’t care to click, it was a period of open warfare between Irish Republicans and the British army and the RUC. While the Troubles didn’t end until 1998, thebulk of the killing was in the 1970s. Over three thousand people were killed.
