Two PM is such a useless time of day. Lunch has come and gone. Going home isn’t until forever. What can you do? Just sit and wait. Or do some actual work, I suppose, if some were to be had. Nah. I’d rather wait. Now, if I were under a big oak tree on the top of a hill, looking down toward a bubbling brook, and if I had a nice big book, and a hat to shade my face, and some lemonade, or even a cooler of beer… then I think that two o’clock might just be grand. With the cool breeze and the warm sunshine… two o’clock would suit me just fine. A day game at the ballpark… two o’clock means it’s the bottom of the third inning. Back in my senior year of college, occasionally two o’clock meant that it was time to wake up and get out of bed. None of these things is true today. Nope. It’s just two o’clock.
It’s now 2:25 and I have 35 minutes before I go on my break… I’ll get back from my break at 3:30 and then I’ll only have a half hour before I can go home!! Whoo Hoo!!

I understnd your feelings. I too have a problem with 2PM of course I have a problem with must hours between 8 and 5 because I am at work. Right now I am looking out my window and seeing the beautiful day and since I am in Philly I only have and hour to go but still I have had to stare at it all day like it is taunting me, laughing at me. Evil,Evil Weather Why can it be nasty and rainy from 8-4 and be nice everyother time then it wouldn’t be so bad. Oh look a cloud that looks like a bunny. Poop I want to go Home!
At 2 PM on any weekday I am at home, alone, wishing my friends had the weekdays off! Today was a GORGEOUS day but I had no one to play with.
Res. Dog, care to take the day off and spend it with me at the park???
