We saw this yesterday and enjoyed it a lot. Those background singers who either wanted to remain in that role, or who decided to try to walk those 20 feet to stardom; as Springfield says in the opening: that’s a long 20 feet. Singers whose voices you know, but not the names, like Lisa Fischer (who still tours with the Stones), Jo Lawry, the Baker family, Darlene Love and more. It’s an excellent film and you should try to see it when it comes to town.

A group of us mistakenly sat down in the wrong theater when trying to see a different documentary. About ten minutes in we realized it was not, in fact, a very long trailer and scurried quietly out, but decided it looked so interesting we went back to see it the next week. Great film, very interesting.
