2002 in 2002

w00t!

What a year it’s been. Had another family reunion from Hell. Got a new job. Hematomaed the crap out of my thigh. Started seeing a professional life coach. Ran my first half-marathon. Took a sociology class with an amazing professor. Met the Duchess of York. Ran many 5Ks and 10Ks. Maintained my weight loss most of the year; even lost a little. Met Bill Rodgers. Dyed my hair maroon and gold. Quit smoking, again. Decided running was important enough to talk a physical therapist about shin splints and Achilles tendonitis. Went to Sex World. Passed a physical with flying colors. Was invited to train with the Kenyans. Got a new niece. Figured out what I want to do for a career. Took a yoga class. Finally posted more than 2000 times.

A year’s worth of mundanity and pointlessness begins this post…

I would like to dedicate this, my 2002nd post to a celebration of MPSIMS. I love it when something mundane or not-so-mundane happens to me and I immediately think, Oh man, I can’t WAIT to post this on MPSIMS!

I love you, my Doper friends. Thank you for listening to my mundanity and pointlessness since 1999.

Congrats on your 2002, and here’s to another 2002!

Congratulations, you’ve a lot to be proud of and are in for a wonderful life.

Dammit, I didn’t do shit.

I noticed you were knocking on 2000 earlier today.

You met the Duchess of York!?!?!?!?!?

As an employee of Weight Watchers, I am insanely jealous. I’m only hoping that she’ll clear her schedule for a visit to SoCal sometime in 2003.

Oh, and lieu, au contraire, mon frere. You are absolutely renowned for “doing shit”.

w00t! I’ll always associate that with you GazelleyGirl. 2k2, huh, I’m no where near you.

Sex World? Link? Cite? Pictures?

[sub]Here’s hoping beyond hope that Sex World has nothing to do with lieu “doing shit”.[/sub]

Whee! Congrats, Gazelle from Hell!

I purposely came in here to use my 900th post to tell you congratulations and keep 'em coming!

Gracias skittles, lieu, scoutybaby, rrrrrubesbaby, Munch and Skerri

Yep, scout, I met Sarah. She was here for a WW thang at the Mall o’ America and I’m a WW, so I went. Shook her hand, told her I liked the insurance commercial she did… There’s a post out there about it.

Ditto for Munch. Use the search engine, brutha!
