We are in the middle of a very long period of layoffs at my company. There have been a couple of announcement & layoffs in Q4 2004 but nothing for my group yet.

My boss left for another company. She just finished the proceeding to hire me at the new company!! I get a yearly bonus, 3 weeks of vacation…AND…a 28% raise!!! YAY!!! What a boss! GREAT lady huh!!!

AND I have been self-studying for my MCDBA and I just passed the 70-228 exam!!!
