Pandora sent me a gorgeous handmade Doper complimentary one… with silver, mirror-like stars and pink & yellow flowers!! I too got one of the mysterious bookmarks. Alas, I just wish I’d had the opportunity to be a bad girl, yesterday or anytime in the recent past/future. Plus, Harry graced my world. Thank you Avarie. Which, by the way, I hope to take care of the thing we emailed about within the week.
Oh, and anyrose, I’m sure your artwork would sell wonderfully on eBay. Just let me know if you decide to try it. I’m positive I’d love to at least gaze upon their beauty.

I felt kind of bad about not making mine this year, but I figured, if there’s a group of adults around who’d like 3-D Spiderman valentines, Dopers would be they. (Yes, all my dollar-store musings are grammatically correct – aren’t yours?)

Sorry, I haven’t been keeping very good track of who I’ve gotten from, and now I’ve got valentines scattered all over the place, some with usernames, plus a bunch of envelopes, many with real names only. The mail includes, but isn’t limited to, valentines from: **Susie Derkins, mrs. furthur, ZipperJJ, Avarie537, The Punkyova, yellowtail, ** and Pandora. Plus whoever sent that wonderful felt heart. (Plus rocking chair, possibly? I thought I had but now can’t find it in any of the three or four little piles I just collected.)
And a special shout-out to BrattiAtti, who not only undertook the harrowing job of organizing this, but made a special personalized magnet valentine that’s getting a permanent place of honor on my fridge.
Thanks, all! The Valentines exchange is absolutely my favorite exchange of the year.

One year, I won’t procrastinate.
This year is not that year.
Mine went out on Valentine’s Day. But I felt guilty about opening the ones sent to me before I’d sent mine out - so I opened them last night.
Thank you everyone! They’re wonderful. And cheered me up quite a lot.
I feel so spoiled! I keep coming home to all this fun mail! Yesterday’s installment was from The Punkyova (very cute picture), Pandora and rocking chair. Have I mentioned this was fun?

I came home last night (after a very long and cold business trip), completely miserable and feeling very unloved and underappreciated. Valentines Day had passed me by and there were no smoochies for YingTong (awwwww). So, as you can imagine opening my door and seeing lots and lots and lots of fabulous envelopes all the way from America (some places I thought only existed in movies!) covered in hearts and kisses and sparklies - well - put it this way…
…My heart is brimming and my cheeks hurt from smiling! Thanks to all who have made the effort to send a card internationally - I know it must have been extra hassle/expense and the thought is so very appreciated.
BrattiAtti - You’re a doll for sorting this out - a pint of your choice is reserved for you!
Mr Bus Guy - I’ve never had anything globally prioritised before! Your card was right on the money too - my cat presented me with regurgitated steak (yep I had Valentines dinner with my cats - oh dear…) almost to the second as I was opening it! He he he.
