I’m pretty shocked. I’ve actually seen several of these!

Once

That’s amazing, since some years I won’t have seen ANY of the ISA nominees! Time was when I wouldn’t have heard of any of them either. Some haven’t opened yet, such as The Savages, Juno and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, all three of which I can’t wait to see.
I’m particularly happy for the Talk To Me nominations, and Steve Zahn, and The Namesake. All of them, really. Good luck to all!

The future is NOW.

red faced

I wonder what movies will be like in 800 years.

I’ve only seen a couple, but we just saw Talk To Me on Sunday night. Man, that was a neat movie. I’ve always been a fan of Don Cheadle, so when I saw it on Netflix, I made sure to grab it.

This is good fodder for my queue, that’s for sure!

Nothing but Smell-O-Vision, I promise.

Typo fixed.

Thanks SkipMagic!

I’m glad you liked Talk To Me scout1222, it’s one of my favorite films of the year.

I just added over 20 movies to my Netflix queue going through this list. And not everything was listed over there!

Ah, that’s because many of them haven’t been released yet. Plus I’d bet some of the smaller films might not even have distribution deals. Which 20 did you get?

I’m making a list with IMDB links for each film. I’ll post it here when I’m done.

Actually, Netflix has quite a few of them listed, but I can only “save” them because they aren’t released yet. The ones they didn’t have were mostly confined to those last three categories - the people that hadn’t gotten much acclaim yet. I guess not!

I pretty much added all the movies in all the other categories, save one or two which didn’t look interesting to me. However, I probably already had 5 of them in my queue before they were even nominated.

I bumped Manufactured Landscapes to the top of my queue, and it now looks like it’s in the mail on its way to me - I saw a poster for this one in the artsy fartsy theater before it played there, and plum forgot about it until this thread.

Here’s what’s in my queue that hasn’t been released yet. I’m sure you can tell which movies I added because of this thread, and…which ones I added for other reasons.
