Those totals are oddly meaningless at this point. Texas, West Virginia, Alabama, and Georgia are being counted now; McCain’s probably a lock for those four states, and quite likely Indiana too. McCain’s numbers are going to get a big boost soon enough.
It’s Florida, Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina that are going to affect the outcome.
I don’t see why they WOULD call it. I see it as 0% reporting. That means they are calling it from exit polls, which are notoriously unreliable.

No, they won’t. WV and AL I’ll grant you, and most likely TX as well, but GA and IN are by no means guaranteed R. They’ve been within the margin of error for a week or two.
I’m in Florida and looked at the numbers coming in by county. I have to say, that the results are not even close to being able to call, there is far, far too many places left, places that one precinct can have more voters than entire counties. I’ll feel better when we get Miami, Orlando, Tampa. Jacksonville and Pensacola are so military, I’d be shocked if they went any other way than Republican.
On a more depressing note, looks like our one man, one woman shenanigans is ahead.
