Will Palin really stand onstage with McCain while he concedes the election if her own state is still voting? McCain could wait until the Alaskan polls are closed, but traditional or not I don’t think Obama will wait that late to declare victory.
Karl frickin’ Rove says Obama 338, McCain 200. And with that, my friends, I’m going to say that McCain is well and truly forked.
Their online map has been buggy all night. For a while it showed all the states up for grabs even after a dozen had been called.
Well, right now it’s not showing CA red. But the headlines say: Momentum builds, Obama wins Ohio, PA, delivering damaging blow to McCain.
Welcome to the party, the beer’s cold and the brie is runny.
Life is veddy, veddy good.
Obama’s sort-of-home state (Hawaii) will still be voting then, too. He might not make an acceptance speech at Grant Park… just a “yay, thanks!” speech.
Hmm, I just took a look at CNN’s map, and the picture they show of McCain has him doing a Nazi salute. Maybe there is a media bias!
Shall we commence the Happy Dance.
Shayna, will you do me the honor?
Yes, it is. We need to celebrate now, because tomorrow we get a hell of a mess dumped in our laps.
Try the arugula salad with the Republican Tear dressing… it’s to die for!
Is it made with Boehner’s tears? I hear those are the best kind.
Awww, it would be my pleasure. Thank you for asking. :o
::curtsies::
Oh Yeah, it IS !!!
I want more pics of Grant Park in Chicago! Shut up, Buchanan.
I hear VA is for Obama now–I hope so!
Oh dude, I’ve been celebrating so much that I’m halfway through tomorrow already!
All I can say about that is that Louisiana is really, really weird. Honest. Culturally, New Orleans is like it’s from another planet compared to much of the rest of the state. Northern Louisiana is basically Southern, albeit a bit more Catholic than, say, Georgia (where I have also lived). You have NO, then you have the rest of south Lousiana, then you have north Louisiana. I think a lot of the state would be happy to see New Orleans be “normal”, aside from the tourism money.
I’m not surprised by that call, even though I think I should be.
Uh-huh-uh-huhhuh, you said Boehner.
That was DAMN funny!
