As always, if there is one you want me to watch out for, let me know. There are so many, I just picked some of my favorites from my youth.

Thanks for doing all the work! This is excellent…TRM

I want to know when the Alistair Sim version of A Christmas Carol is going to be on.

The 1951 version or the 1971 version (he voiced a 1971cartoon)? Right now I see one filmed with George C Scott scheduled and one filmed in 1938 with Riginald Own as Scrooge. I don’t see the Alistair Sim one scheduled yet, but will watch for it.

Muppet Christmas Carol?

Thanks for doing this Khadaji! Now I’m pretty much lined out for this holiday season.

Oh, not the cartoon. The real, genuine black & white one. I love that movie.

what, no Christmas Vacation? That’s the one Christmas movie that has been a Christmas Eve tradition in my family since 1989.

I think there’s something about cranberries being made? And Barry Manilow is possibly involved?

This is a very useful list. Thanks for putting it together.

It’s missing some (like Elf), but may have some on there that were missed here.

Dec 4 AMC 8:00 p.m., 10:15 p.m.

No word on the others, but I’ll keep an eye out.

I Googled for Olive, the Other Reindeer, but no luck.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is going to be pre-empted on 12/1 for the Presidential Address about Afghanistan. According to www.abctv.com it’s now going to be shown on 12/8 at 8:00 and 12/15 at 8:00 (the second one is the hour-long version).

Arghghg!! I prefer my fiction animated, dad-gummit!!

Any luck in finding The Snowman, the animated feature without dialog, sometimes introduced by David Bowie, I think it’s a BBC production? I’ve got it on my TiVo wish list, but it doesn’t seem to be coming up. It was on ABC’s Family Channel a few years ago, but they actually squashed the scene to play their running ticker of shows coming up below the scene. I always enjoyed it --old time soft animation, haunting music, cute story, – it’s a good cartoon – it enraptures kids who’re too young to understand spoken words, and winds them down, so you can put them to sleep.

You can watch it free online.

What about The Night before Xmas, with the mice and the clock.

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas –
Dec 7th ABC Family, 7:00 p.m.
Dec 9th ABC Family, 10:30 p.m.
Dec 24th ABC Family, 1:00 p.m.

I have not found the others, but am still watching for them.

Scrooged is playing on HBO - I caught it the other day. I love that version!

Dec 20 6:00 am
Dec 24 8:15 am
Dec 24 3:45 pm

I’m assuming that’s EST.

Seems the Charlie Brown special had trouble getting broadcast the first time!
