When I first joined up as a member at SDMB, I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve been an Internet user for around 10 years and have explored many a forum over the years. However, on review of many of the threads, I found this to be by far the most civilized, informed, informative, and helpful collection of people I had ever found on the 'Net. So I joined.
I’m now sitting at 1.17 posts per day, meaning to me that the SDMB is now a little part of my everyday life. I enjoy checking in to see what other people are talking about, learn about topics that I never would have thought about until someone else asked, and find answers to my own questions. I’ve started a few threads, a couple of which have gone “bump” in the night, a couple of which have not really addressed to completion my interest in the matter, and many which have helped me to understand things that I formerly did not and others that helped me to formulate new opinions. I’ve also made several posts that I wish I hadn’t, the result being that I’ve become convinced that I must hook up a breathalyzer to my computer so that it won’t let me post if I’ve been out drinking.
Anyway, I just figured that I ought to mark the occasion of my 200th post with some kind of rambling about my experience here. Y’all are great. Thanks for being out there and enriching my life.
Oh, and I must point out that I wish I’d known when registering that spaces and capitals were allowed. The capital ‘M’ is by luck, as I just happened to type it that way. It has always annoyed me that “Morkfromork” reads like a word, when really it should read “Mork From Ork” or at least, “MorkFromOrk”.

Congrats, MFM. I’ve already sped past you, due to a little addiction to this place, that thankfully is loosening its hold on me. I want that thing you call a life as well!
Oh, and Eilsel, I couldn’t help reading the rest of your profile as well. If I interpret it correctly, I see you have a darling son (ds) and a darling daughter (dd). Then, you also have a darling Og! :eek:
