2010 MLB Home Run Pool

So who gets Teixeira, AH?

A player can’t duplicate any of his picks, but anyone else’s are fair game. same goes for duplicating someone’s picks during the same week I’m pretty sure, though if you’re in second place going into the final week, probably would be wise to pm your pick, just to be safe to insure whoever is leading doesn’t pull a dicky move on you.

oh, sorry, didn’t see you meant you had taken texeira this week. But still within rules for 3 to take 1 guy, no?

Oops, I loaded it up yesterday, then noticed I had forgotten to submit, so I just hit the button without reloading.
So Ill switch to Morneau, who’s game hasn’t started yet.
ETA: err wait a minute, since Tex played and didn’t hit one, that would give me an advantage. Ill leave it up to the ump.

I was hoping to get Vernon Wells last week and you beat me to the punch by an hour or two - too funny. A side note here, I actually got to see my last week’s choice, Alex Gonzalez, play (at the big A) and he went 0-4 with 3 k’s, tho’ game wasn’t a total loss as I sat one row behind the home dugout, and I snagged a ball at the end of bp.

It’s OK for any number of people to pick the same guy in the same week.

Your original pick, Mark Teixeira, wouldn’t have counted for today anyway since the CLE-NYY game started at 1:05 ET and you submitted your pick at 2:53 ET. Therefore, I will allow you to switch to Justin Morneau.

I’ll take Arod

1 Michael Cuddyer
2 Evan Longoria
3 Miguel Cabrera
4 Mark Reynolds
5 Albert Pujols
6 Dan Uggla
7 Ryan Zimmerman
8 Ben Zobrist
9 Robinson Cano

Week 10, Lance Berkman, Houston

This upcoming week I’ll go with Jose Bautista…

Week 10 Ian Stewart.

Week 1: Alex Rodriguez (NYY)
Week 2: Chase Utley (PHI)
Week 3: Dan Uggla (FLA)
Week 4: Derrek Lee (CHC)
Week 5: Adam Dunn (WSH)
Week 6: Albert Pujols (STL)
Week 7: Prince Fielder (MIL)
Week 8: Kevin Youkilis (BOS)
Week 9: Mark Teixeira (NYY)
Week 10: Vladimir Guerrero (TEX)

I’m starting to lose tract of who I picked. Chase Utley for me this week.

Standings after week 9:

In total, our picks have hit 66 HR in 1555 AB (4.24 HR/100 AB)
Last week, our picks hit 7 HR in 195 AB (3.59 HR/100 AB)

For the second consecutive week, wolfman and Incensed were the top performers. **wolfman **has now moved up to fifth, a gain of three places in two weeks.

Week 10 I pick Vlad Guerrero

Who I notice AH also picked, but I spent 20 minutes looking at numbers so I’m gonna stay with him too

Troy Glaus

I wonder why we are collectively so awful at this? **Hawkeyop ** is our leader, and with 15 would only be good for 4th place among MLB leaders. Ambihelical Hexnut and Incensed, in 2nd, would only rank 20th. As an whole, 3.59 hr/100 ab is pretty horrible. It roughly amounts to a hitter getting 20 homers in a season.

week 11.Prince Fielder

Week 1: Alex Rodriguez (NYY)
Week 2: Chase Utley (PHI)
Week 3: Dan Uggla (FLA)
Week 4: Derrek Lee (CHC)
Week 5: Adam Dunn (WSH)
Week 6: Albert Pujols (STL)
Week 7: Prince Fielder (MIL)
Week 8: Kevin Youkilis (BOS)
Week 9: Mark Teixeira (NYY)
Week 10: Vladimir Guerrero (TEX)
Week 11: Miguel Cabrera (DET)

Josh Hamilton

The absurdly hot Carlos Pena.

The inexplicable home run leader Corey Hart
