The Lions are going to move Suh around the line to create mismatches. Inside on first and second downs and outside on hits down. That’s what Schwartz did with Haynesworth in Tennessee and he has the personnel for a wicked defensive line rotation.
I wonder if Cinci took Green thinking one of the QBs like Locker/Ponder/etc would be there for their 2nd round, and now no one will be…
As an AFC Norther, I’d love to see Jordan Palmer trying to get the ball to AJ Green…
Good pick. Let him learn from Hall and Long for a year and bookend him with Long for the future.
My dream now is to move back up and get Amukamara or Solder.
Spagnuolo loves his DEs. Makes sense, but I haven’t seen much film of Quinn. Who knows if he’s good or not.
ETA: Pouncey to the Fins!! Hit number two for me, both against conventional wisdom. If only I’d have accepted conventional wisdom elsewhere I might have had something. Sorry Steelers fans, no brother reunion.
Bah, I was hoping Pittsburgh would trade up and complete their wish to have two overrated Pounceys on their line.
Great. All my picks are going to division rivals.
I love O-line picks…someone my Dolphins needed too. I’m happy
Gosselin’s mock is looking really good.
No idea who the Skins will look at. The need a 3-4 DL. Maybe Phil Taylor? Maybe Liuget as a converted DE? Maybe Kerrigan or Cam Jordan, maybe another trade back.
Kerrigan is a pretty solid choice. Interestingly, I nailed Kerrigan’'s draft spot and had him going to the Jags here. Nice fit if he can convert to the 3-4 and I think he can better than most.
The Pats have to be creaming in their pants over Cameron Jordan.
Ryan Kerrigan to the 'Skins. I liked what I saw when he was running drills on TV, but he might struggle on his feet.
There was some debate from some corners that Prince might’ve been the best CB in this draft, but he’s still there.
If Bowers passes medical, maybe the Browns will snatch him up. Word is TB wouldn’t pass up on im at #20.
And the Raiders pick…
I mean the Pats, … Nate Solder
Whoa…offensive line?
He must be happy going to the pats
I’m getting ready for a run on D-line, hoping Browns move up a few spots to grab Bowers, Jordan, or maybe wait for Lieuget.
Solder, that’s a shocker. I was actually talking myself into the idea of the Bears ending up with him.
If I’m right about values, no way the Chargers pass up on Jordan now.
What are the chances that Solder get’s converted to a DE?
He’s not very big for an O-lineman…
The dream is dead. Another team picking a guy for the wrong scheme. Kinda dumb. I cannot understand why teams insist on doing this so often.
Liuget can plat DE for them so I guess it’s not a bust, but why not take the guy who’s already a 3-4 DE in Jordan who’s rated equally.
I wish I knew what the producer was smoking when he was writing these draft profiles for KNBR.
