And another glorious no-call. How do you miss a facemask on a qb?
Ugh, this is going to get added to the Magic Of Roethlisberger legacy bullshit and not the Magic of the Steelers-Refs bond legacy.
Tebow missed a wide open Thomas. C’mon defense.
Fuck you, Simms.
What the fuck kind of defense it this?
Like I said, Big Ben in the spread is the key.
Oh, thank heavens for a fumble.
What a play! That could be huge.
Another 3 man rush. Really?
For fucks sake what’s the success rate on the NFL “let’s change what’s been working all game to passive playcalling when the game is on the line” philosophy? 10%? I can’t believe it happens every fucking game.
Edit:
Champ Bailey! Nice deflection.
Btw, did anyone see the two uncalled facemasks on Tebow a litle while back?
OT it seems like. At least it won’t be a sudden death.
Why on earth don’t you try the field goal there?
New OT Rules in effect!
ETA: Extra relevant considering this is in FG heaven Denver.
Overtime.
I really need to piss.
Let me know who wins the flip.
After all that talk about it last year, finally get to see how this playoff OT plays out.
It would have been 4 yards longer than the NFL record FG, and the defense can return a kick that falls short. You’ve got a better chance with a Hail Mary than you do at kicking.
So if one team scores an FG, and then the other comes back and scores an FG… next score wins it? What if one team scores an FG and the other one turns over on downs? Game over?
This is all so arbitrary compared to an extra period.
Yep. And if the first team to possess gets a TD, it’s game over.
go for the field goal at the end wimps
I don’t like the new OT rules. changing thnigs is bad
I agree. I think they should play one full extra period, and then go to the college style.
Who won the flip?
I think the Steeler player that called the coin fucked up. It was a double heads coin, and the ref tried to give him the hand signal to call heads, but he misread it.
