Y’know, a forum titled “Poop and Politics”, for all threads related to politics and feces, would not only make for a fairly cohesive set of subject matters, but might up participation and interest.

No they didn’t. The Kaiser Foundation Health Plans and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals are non-profit entities which are separate from the for-profit Permanente medical groups in their consortium, which are all entirely separate from the various companies started by Henry Kaiser, which built ships. The only connection is that the Kaiser Companies formed a consortium to offset workers’ medical costs, and this eventually grew into the modern KP structure.
I do believe you are in error, my dear fellow. When the Elections forum didn’t exist, the political threads were usually found in the Great Debates forum, which typically did not have a thread of the “what color should my poop be” variety, unless I am sorely mistaken.
Huh, I thought there was more of a connection then that. Now that I think about it, I heard it on the History Channel. I should know better.
Still, at the very least, merge the two forums. And rename the Election forum into a permanent politics forum.
