But following the Pittsburgh papers the last week or so, the consensus was if Dennard was there, they were taking him.m if he was gone, Fuller.
They just drafted a linebacker number one last year. The talking heads called this a luxury pick. The Steelers were 8-8 last year and have a horrid defensive backfield. They can’t afford a luxury pick.
This is just another interesting (ie. Weak) pick for the Tomlin/Colbert duo. I am so disappointed right now. Not as disappointed as Johnny Football, but I think he will be taken before the night is out. And if he is there, New England will take him.
Bridgewater, not surprised at all. Manziel has past many of the teams that might have picked him, so he could be this year’s Aaron Rodgers and land on the Patriots or something weird like that.

I am not a Bridgewater guy. I don’t think he goes tonight. He had a horrid pro day, which took him from a first over all potential to out of the first round.

The knock on Shazier was his weight, but he’s bulked up some. He’ll be a linebacker for the Steelers, he’ll be fine. Have they ever even had a linebacker with this kind of speed?
I can’t imagine that the Vikings were planning on taking him. If they wanted him, why trade down a spot and lose him for only a 5th? It seems more likely to me somebody else was looking to trade up for him, and the Browns outbid them?
