Wilson and Cunningham look like busts. The latter was cut after three seasons, the former didn’t start a single game last year.
Yeah, you’re right about Cunningham. Wilson seemed to take a step back in 2013, but I’m not willing to write him off just yet.

That’s a bit much. Hoyer played very well (in an admittedly tiny sample) last season, and Manziel is a rookie who everyone acknowledges needs polishing. I hate the dude but writing him off because he didn’t win the job before training camp started is unfair.
I wouldn’t take any of that stuff at face value. They’re trying to prevent fans from pressuring them to start Manziel too soon and maybe they’re trying to keep his ego in check.
