Thats one reason why he is good for the game.
I loved watching City spank Chelsea like an unruly child. I’m sure another change in team doctors is the cure for Chelsea’s woes
As noted in last year’s thread, I am a Southampton fan. Fuck.
Pedro to Chelsea. Got scared off from Man U by LVGs frankly ridiculous treatment of Valdes and De Gea.
Not to mention Di Maria. Great signing for Chelski. Glad they couldn’t sign Stones though. The top teams shouldn’t get to sign all the best players.
A lot of strange results today: Chelsea and Liverpool both spanked at home. Arsenal win on a Magpie own goal.
Man City are still the only favored side with any consistency.
I hate that.
Pedro was the only good thing about Chelsea today.
They have no defence and playing Fabregas as a DM is really stupid. How often has he played as that in the last 8 years?
Liverpool looked just dreadful , the Rogers hot seat just got hotter
Arsenal defeat the Orcs of Mordor, 2-0. Should have been more like 4 or 5 to 0, but Butland made something like 10 saves, of which 6 or so were of real quality.
In other news, The Passion of St. Mourinho continues apace, Everton 3-1 Enemies of Football.
Probably worth mentioning: there’s a very exciting match tomorrow between two teams at the bottom of the table who still have yet to win a match this season: Sunderland v. Spurs.
Oh, and one other thing about that Chelsea FC? They have 4 points after five games. 4. Woeful, I think, is the proper word. They’ve been approximately as impressive as Bournemouth and Aston Villa, although both of those sides have a better GD at present. Chelsea’s worst start in almost thirty years. I know, it’s a long season, and they’ll be back at some point. But for now, I’ll just sit back and enjoy the rich chocolatey Schadenfreude.
Crystal Palace were rather good against Manchester City. The goal that lost them the match was a bit punishing, all things considered.
What a clusterfuck Chelsea is this season. I often watch football with a Chelsea fan in my building and I’m almost feeling sorry for him.
For me, it’s pure Schadenfreude.
In other news, Arsenal score all three goals in their 2-1 victory over some team called Splunge or Hotspooge or Spuds or some such. GO GUNNERS!
Arsenal crush a so-far overachieving Leicester, 5 goals to 2. The magical Alexis Sanchez scored a hat trick, other goals from Giroud and Walcott.
Is the mojo back?
Liverpool still looked shaky on defense and in goal, but pulled out the 3-2 win without Firmino and Benteke
Nope. The mojo is never staying for longer than the occasional match. Never. Believe me, I’ve suffered this team for years.
It’s been awhile since the last Premier League trophy, true. And we’re still waiting for that CL trophy as well…
But, the times, we’ve had a few. Most ever wins in the FA cup. Most consecutive appearances in the CL. The only side to finish a BPL season unbeaten in the modern era. Longest continuous run in the top flight of British football. And being no.3 for total top flight trophies isn’t too shabby.
I still believe another Premier League trophy for Arsenal isn’t all that far off.
It’s good to have dreams.
On the other side of North London Spurs ran riot over City. It was fun. Not quite as much fun as stomping Chelsea last year, but lots of fun. And I don’t think the team played up to their full potential today either. If the other Tottenham fans don’t drive me to drink it will be a really fun season.
Hey, what are friends for? COYS! Would have much rather lost this one and won the last one, but 4-1 over City ain’t too shabby. Btw, did you know Spurs have played in a CL quarterfinal more recently than Arse have?
Celtic entered the Scottish First Division in 1890. When did they get relegated?
You forgot to add The Woolwich Arsenal are the only club in the top flight that didn’t earn their right to be there. They bribed their way in.
L’Arsenal - merde.
Awww SNAP!
