We’re about 30 minutes away from the very late start to this debate (wtf is up with that?), so this thread is for those of us watching to comment as we watch and discuss what they said both concurrently and afterwards.

I did note when I searched for a channel to watch it on that the Fox News channel had about 130,000 people on it already while others like C-SPAN, NBC, Washington Post, CBS etc. had 60,000-70,000 each.

The first “question” was waaaaaay too many questions.
Looks like we’ve got subdued Trump. Remarkably cool and on-point (for him). Probably a good approach for him- Biden needs to get him to lose his cool.
Trump at debates tends to not be rambling. I can only assume he is very strongly coached (indeed both are).
But he likes interrupting. He may go full on douchebag at some point.
Biden needs to be less fumbly.

Yeah…Biden’s response to a new Supreme Court justice was wishy-washy at best, tried to toss a variety of points in that all got lost and missed the central argument completely.
If doesn’t stop trying to talk over Biden he should have his mic turned off.

I don’t know why he didn’t bring up how we had to wait 10 months at the end of Obama’s term.
