FTR that was actually the Blue Swede cover (which they took from the Jonathan King cover, which is terrible), not Thomas’ original version. Thomas did not oogachaka.

Being named Big isn’t much better.

His name was Deshawn, and he called himself Lil, but I bet no one knew him as Nancy.

I discovered this later, when I went to listen to it in his honour. I still feel it’s appropriate anyway.
