I’ve corresponded on occasion with his costar Rebecca Brown (aka Rivkah Reyes). She’s as devastated as Jack Black is.
Another one gone way too soon.
Eric Carle, author of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, has died at 91.
eta: I did a search for “Carle” and nothing showed up. Does the search function not work on linked text?
The links with no info are not helpful IMO. It isn’t hard to give the pertinent information: how old were they?
Kevin Clark was 32. That’s the School of Rock actor that was the post right above my last one. Made by @Stephe96 . I’m on my phone right now, so I can’t scroll up to get the link or post #.
‘Chicka Chicka Boom Boom’ illustrator Lois Ehlert dies at 86:

In keeping with precedent, they will have Fabrice Morvan in the coffin.
The British children’s TV series Rainbow, a favourite from when I was very young, and then continued for decades, included amongst the puppets and jovial host, a musical trio known as Rod, Jane, and Freddy. Sadly, Freddy Marks has died, aged 71.
That article just whooshed me down memory lane
Gavid MacLeod, from The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Love Boat, dead at 90.
‘Hooked on a Feeling’ singer B.J. Thomas dies at 78.
We should all bow our heads and let out a soft, heartfelt, oogachaka.
Mark Eaton, shot-blocking king and Jazz legend, dies at 64.
I hope not; I remember many hours watching Mr. Eaton play basketball.
Consider it done.
Mark Eaton’s death brings a couple of things to mind.
One is the tendency of sportsball teams to usually bring along their old moniker when they move to a new city. The name and new location don’t always match up well, but it’s hard to think of an instance where the mismatch was as jarring as when the New Orleans Jazz moved to Utah. And yet, over 40 years later, they’re still the Jazz.
The other is, if you’re 7 foot 4, where the devil do you find a bike that fits? I assume they have to be custom-made.
Indeed they do. One of my recurring random interactions with Shaq back in the early ‘90s in Orlando happened at a bicycle shop. I was picking up some new rims and he was there getting fitted for a frame they were going to make and assemble for him.
Swiss Moto 3 racer Jason Dupasquier leaves a whopping 81 points I’m sure will go unclaimed.
Rapper Lil Loaded dies at 80 points.
