Sad story. He had many run ins with the law, mostly due to his mental health issues. At one point he announced that he had pancreatic cancer, but this appeared to be another delusion / attempt to avoid incarceration. Very sad to hear of his suicide. I took him off my list a few years ago because I thought he was doing better 
Another covid denier has died of covid; actor Vachik Mangassarian at age 78.
Just to clarify, Stevens was found dead in his home by the police when they conducted the check.
British comedy writer Barry Cryer, mainstay of the radio panel show I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue amongst many other things, has died aged 86.
Man, this month has been rough on the comedy profession. Cryer was an absolute legend.
