I really liked that series. I watched it on Armed Forces Television while I was stationed in the Army at Camp Humphies in Korea.I remember the scene in which bulldozers were being used to shovel emaciated corpses into a mass grave outside a concentration camp One gal in the barracks wrinkled her nose and said “Ew! why do they have to show that?” I opened my mouth to respond but someone else beat me to it “So we remember and hopefully it doesn’t happen again.”

Detroit Tigers’ catcher from the 60’s and radio color guy Jim Price has called his last game. He was still on the air up til about a month ago I believe. He was never my favorite guy behind the mic, but I’d definitely gotten used to him over the years.
