I know someone who went there, and when she later (many years) acquired a Dachshund, she named him Frank. Frank the Weiner dog. As he got elderly, they acquired a Weiner puppy, and named her Beans. Beans & Frank.
There are a lot of Weiners in this world, but I always thought the dog was called Wiener, as in Vienna’s demonym. Like the Wiener Würstchen, because it is also called a sausage dog. I hope I am not wrong, that would take a lot of fun from those dogs for me.

I initially just glanced over this post. When I later read the article I realized how close I was to this when it happened. At most a mile or two. According to the articles published it was a house owned by her daughter and son-in-law who is the actor Marc Blucas. Although I wouldn’t call Blucas an A-lister, the area is becoming known for celebrities. Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik all live there. To me it’s just the close place we go to get good meals.
Weird Al’s parents Nick and Mary died together from carbon monoxide poisoning. He performed less than a week later, I was there. He said he’d perform up to the funeral because as long as he was doing that he wasn’t crying.
He actually performed the same day!
It was Al’s parents’ deaths that got us to install carbon monoxide detectors in our house.
