2024 SDMB Celebrity Death Pool

I think I had heard of this guy

19 points gone to waste

Cosgrove-Hall cartoons were a fond memory of my pre teen childhood , now I have the Danger mouse theme tune in my head .
He’s the greatest, he’s fantastic, wherever there is danger he’ll be thereeeeee

And there were no windows in sight! Most unusual. I suspect poison. Unfortunately, nobody knows how old the beluga was, how many human years go into a beluga year, and how this would translate into points. Good thing that no one had her on the list.
Poor animal.

A decade an a half ago, a 19th century harpoon fragment was found in a freshly-caught bowhead whale. Not sure how bowhead years translate to beluga years.

If you start comparing mysticeti with odontoceti we will get tangled up in knots, I tell you.

Let’s not forget his appearance as “Jimmy Darrock” on an episode of The Flintstones

The thing I remember Darren from first off is that beach movie, For Those Who Think Young. His car had 2 phones in it.

Sure you weren’t thinking of this guy?

First person I thought of when I saw your post.

Also left 19 points on the table, but last year.

This one is still alive and kicking:

Or one might say still alive and learning

Vladimir Bure died. He was a coach for the New Jersey Devils but he was also an Olympic medalist in swimming. He’s probably more noteworthy now as the father of two NHL stars.

Rich Homie Quan is no longer feeling some type of way.

2013 was a banner fall for Spartan’s football and Type of Way was their anthem. Rich Homie Quan came to the Rose Bowl and when the Spartans beat Stanford, he danced with the team in the lockerroom while they all, including Coach Dantonio, sang Type of Way.

Your username is perfect for this thread.

Was that the game in 1988 I think? I lived in East Lansing at the time, and when the Spartans beat Northwester, ensuring the bowl game, I could hear the shouting from my apartment, which was about a mile from the stadium. The blimp was there too.

Well, that would have been quite the stunt for a guy born in 1990.

The blurb doesn’t mention it, but he was also the author of the bestselling book NeuroTribes : The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity

i guess I am behind the times as I did not know the person named. But you are right.
