This thread is to determine the 2024 SDMB Photo of the Year. These photos are the winners of our 2024 monthly contests (there are more than 12 entries on account of ties).

Please vote for your 3 favorite photos, using whatever criteria you feel is best. All Dopers are welcome to vote - you don’t need to have submitted a photo. You cannot vote for your own photo.

The voting deadline is 11:45 p.m. US EDT on Sunday, January 12.

Well, that was brutal. I literally wrote down all my favorites on bits of paper and drew randomly. Then I talked myself out of those choices and tried again. Then I whittled my choices down to four, and threw out the one I believed most likely to win without my help. Then I voted, but I’m not sure.

I need more votes!

Hmmm, I was able to vote with no problem.

Tough choices. I’m not surprised mine is so low-- I wouldn’t have voted for mine even if the rules allowed it. So many others have so much better composition- mine was just a lucky action shot.
