About 2 years ago we had a big awards “thing” and everyone voted and blah blah blah. We’ve always talked about doing it again but it hasn’t happened yet. I think it is looking like it’s time again!
So this thread is to establish categories. NOT to nominate anyone or vote, just to establish categories. Once we’ve settled on a set of those, I’ll make up a page for it, and then we’ll start nominating people and voting.

Those would be hard to pick, though. (Moderators would be ineligible, of course.)

I got one of those in high school (I shall not tell you what I “won” for, but it wasn’t very nice. And it was in the yearbook.) Still have the emotional scars.

Great idea, Opal! And yeah, “slams” can be close to compliments here…though scrupulous judgment and balance would be needed on that one. It would have to salute really valuable voices, not just “troll du jour”.

Does this mean that we will have swimsuit and evening gown competitions, and the final 5 get asked to answer an all important question that should make them appear intelligent enough to hold the crown and ceptor?? ohhh wait… wrong concept… sorry blonde moment.
