2025-26 NBA season

Damn, that’s rough.

Spurs just upset the Thunder 111-109.

The Clippers upset the Pistons 112-99 for their fourth straight win, as Kawhi Leonard set a new career-high in points with 55, tying the Clippers’ single-game record.

The Clippers should NOT be anywhere near as bad as their record indicates, specially with Kawhi being back. It’s their off court drama that’s affected their gameplay. They really need to get their shit together because OKC has their pick next year and its supposed to be a great draft. Handing OKC another top 5 pick would mean every other team might as well take the next decade off.

They’ve won their last four games, so maybe they’ve figured out that they are indeed better than they’ve been playing.

Nikola Jokic had his foot stepped on in the Nuggets’ loss to the Heat last night, and limped off the court favoring his knee. He’ll have an MRI.

It’s early to say, but with the Hawks’ 7-game losing streak, they could plausibly hand the Spurs yet another lottery draft pick. The Spurs had gained a first-round pick from Atlanta via the Dejounte Murray trade.

I’m taking my son to see the Pistons in March when they play the Lakers in Detroit.

They played the Lakers in Los Angeles last night and blew them out. We’re hoping for the same in Detroit, but we are mainly hoping Lebron plays since we mainly want to see him.

I mean, is this it for Lebron? I feel like even he is feeling aging now and won’t be going much more.

I see the Pacers are the worst in the NBA. I take it this is due to that injury to their star in Game 7.

Sad.

Sad about Jokic, hope he’s OK. I noticed the Cavs were favored by 12 points over Denver today and figured he must be hurt.

Jokic suffered a right knee hyperextension, which isn’t too serious, but he’ll be re-evaluated in four weeks. So I guess he’s missing at least that much time.

Just watched a Piston come off the bench in second quarter and hit 6 3-pointers and make one three-point play. Scored 21 points in the second quarter, just 1 point off the Pistons record.

Daniss Jenkins

Looks like Snoop Dogg will be announcing Warriors-Clippers tonight on Peacock. Should be entertaining.

The Charlotte Hornets (12-23) have a 26-point lead over the Thunder in Oklahoma City with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Shai, Holmgren, and Dort are all playing. Shai has 21 points.

If this result holds, it’ll have to be the most surprising result since the 72-10 Bulls lost to the expansion Toronto Raptors.

Yep, and it happened. Just watched it live. Great example. Any team can beat any team. Sometimes it just happens.

124-97 was the final score. That was a mud hole stomping.

So happy for the Hornets, my second-favorite team.

Daniss Jenkins on the Pistons is a bench guy, but is improving so much he is beginning to feel like a star.

I was dubious about that, but I just saw a Shorts video in which Snoop commentated on Steve Kerr’s ejection and it was hilarious. I want him as a regular guest commentator.

Ever since the blatant favorable officiating was “tuned down” OKC is on a tailspin. They need to do the same for the Lakers now.
