You mean Hoosiers.
It’s definitely the Indiana Hoosiers. And definitely a massacre.
So…was Indiana considered this good before the season?
Michigan and Ohio State…nowhere to be seen. Indiana? On the cusp. Amazing.
Indiana did make the College Football Playoff last year.
Thanks, I actually didn’t remember that.
I’m fixin’ to watch Law & Order reruns. More interesting than this …. whatever it is.
Just before half-time, the on-air guys were talking about Indiana/Miami matchup. Somebody must have said something to them about it because abruptly changed the subject. ![]()
I was sure the Ducks (3.5 point underdogs) would at least put up a good fight.
It’s now 56 - 15.
I read this week that they were ranked preseason No. 20. Oof. What makes last night so scary is that Oregon is pretty good and the Ducks were never in it.
Interesting stat: Hoosiers QB Fernando Mendoza threw more touchdowns (5) than incompletions (4). It’s the 5th game this season he’s done that.
Yeah, in the college playoffs he has 8 touchdown passes and 5 incompletions
(He actually went 17 of 20 versus Oregon, so only 3 incompletions last night, not 4)
Indiana opened as 7.5 point favorites over Miami.
The first snap of the game resulted in a pick-6 for Indiana.
I did not have “Unstoppable Juggernaut Indiana Hoosiers” on my Bingo card.
Check your Basketball Bingo card.
I’ve never had any interest in college basketball.
Well, that was painful to watch as an Oregon fan. I wish them good luck against Miami, but I really don’t think they’ll need it.
Embarrassing to see on social media that many Oregon fans were calling for the coach to be fired. These youngsters don’t have the perspective one gains from watching years of crappy football. We’ve won 38 games in the last three years, when I was a kid that was a good decade for us. All of our losses in those three seasons have been to teams that reached the national championship game. Things could be a little better, but they could be SO MUCH worse.
Oregon has been one of the best football teams in the nation for years. You just aren’t going to find anyone who is going to to be better than that.
That’s an obscene amount of entitlement on the part of those fans.
I’m old enough to remember when Oregon’s program wasn’t much better than Indiana’s. Enjoy what you have, Duck fans, 38-5 would have most of college football delirious with joy.
Yeah, I can recall a time long ago when the Ducks, Beavers and Cougars were the Door Mats of the Pac-10.
At least that’s how I remember it…
