Almost all of the pundits I’m seeing are saying Abdul Carter to the Giants at #3. I don’t hate it. They certainly need help offensively but as a longtime fan of the team I don’t mind it being led by the defense.
I’m seeing many have the Jets picking Tyler Warren at #7. The last time the Jets picked a Penn State tight end in the first round there was almost a riot.
Hunter is the only one that makes sense, but I think they are going to regret that move. I’m desperately hoping that this removes any chances the Bears are trading up to 5. We’ll see.
I can only hope that Indianapolis does the smart thing and, if he’s available, picks who most draft gurus think they should, TE Tyler Warren, out of Penn State.
DT Mason Graham instead. Which might not be the exciting pick, but probably the smart pick. Seems like he’s an instant upgrade on defense. And with extra picks for the offense, the Browns might be able to get some good weapons later.
DJs mock had the Colts trading up with the Bears to do just that. That would be incredible for the Bears.
Edit: Jeanty goes to the Raiders which was the popular projections a couple weeks ago before all the smoke screens bubbled up. The meatballs on Reddit kept insisting that the Raiders were faking interest to bait the Bears into a trade for some reason…which make no sense on a few levels.
Pete Carroll is the HC in Vegas now, and he loves running backs. This shows me that he’s definitely getting a say in this draft. Maybe not full control, but this feels like his influence.
And for once, this doesn’t seem to be a stretch to draft a RB so early, this guy is just that good.
It’ll be interesting to see how T-Mac and Bryce Young vibe. I like that pick more than the pundits will. It’s a bad WR draft but I think he’s the best one, hard to be too mad about the pick.
